Introducing a centennial limited edition design of Hibiki Japanese Harmony,created to celebrate Suntory’s philosophy of living in harmony with people and nature. This limited-edition 24-faceted bottle pays tribute to House of Suntory’s unique design approach, bringing “Monozukuri” ​craftsmanship to life while grounding it in Japanese ​culture, connecting each of the four seasons to our past and future.

100th Anniversary Limited Edition. Representing a mastery of the art of blending, this delicate balance of several malt and grain whiskies is meticulously crafted to create a full orchestra of flavors and aromas in celebration of 100 years of Suntory Whisky. Chief Blender ​Shinji Fukuyo and his team of blenders challenged ​themselves to rethink the Art of Blending, using the legendary Japanese Mizunara oak rather than the more traditional sherry cask. The final blend is an exploration of how ​a single detail can alter the whole alchemy, creating this extraordinary whisky.

100th Anniversary Limited Edition.This Yamazaki Mizunara Single Malt is comprised of meticulously selected malt whiskies all aged for a minimum of 18 years in solely Mizunara casks, created in honor of House of Suntory’s 100th anniversary. The result showcases the rare, distinctive beauty of Mizunara oak, which is considered the signature “enhancer” of Yamazaki, providing unique Japanese character and elegance.

100th Anniversary Limited Edition Design. The Yamazaki 12 Years Old Single Malt is comprised of meticulously selected malt whiskies all cask-aged aged for a minimum of 12 years. This special limited-edition bottling was created in honor of House of Suntory’s 100th anniversary. Part of the Yamazaki family, Japan’s quintessential whisky, it is made in Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery which was founded in 1923.

The House of Suntory was built on Shinjiro Torii’s dream to “create original Japanese spirits blessed with the riches of Japanese nature and monozukuri craftsmanship.” Monozukuri has been at the core of our philosophy for over a century, and it informs our approach to our whisky making today. 
 

Monozukuri means having the spirit to achieve excellence in craftsmanship, and the ability to constantly improve our systems and processes. In essence, it captures our relentless pursuit for perfection, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to the highest quality – acquired through learning from the past and applying it to everything we do today.

A Celebration of “Suntory Time”

More than an iconic line in a brilliant film, “Suntory Time” continues to evolve and gain recognition in Japanese whisky culture. For two decades it has been embraced and echoed across the globe in connection with our world-renowned spirits. It all started with a glass of Hibiki, but today there is a Suntory Time for every individual, every occasion, and every friend we meet along the way.

Suntory Whisky Distilleries

A century ago, our first whisky distillery was founded near Kyoto, a region known for its clear, beautiful water and distinctive four seasons. Yamazaki Distillery soon became known as the birthplace of Japanese whisky, and since then several more distilleries have opened – each with its own innovative approach to finely crafted spirits.
