ELC Position Paper Urging Corporations to Fulfill Workplace Diversity Commitments


The Executive Leadership Council is pleased to release Beyond Promises to Progress: Black CEOs and C-Suite Officers Speak Out on Diversity. This position paper, commissioned by The ELC Legacy Initiative Committee, is a call to action to deliver on the many promises made since May 2020 to tackle racism in corporate America and to be intentional about facilitating leadership and advancement opportunities for Black employees across all levels of the organization. Our hope is that the leadership and key stakeholders within corporations will utilize Beyond Promises to Progress as a roadmap to leading real and sustainable progress in making diversity, equity and inclusion a reality – in the workplace, and ultimately, in our communities.
