Leon Wright, a.k.a Artistnameleon, is a multi-talented vocalist, songwriter, and independent recording artist based in Los Angeles, California, and originally from Valdosta, Georgia. In 2015, he began incorporating elements of pop and R&B into his sound after focusing on rap and hip-hop during his early career, citing a newfound passion for melodies.

In December 2017, he released an eight-track project called Never Too Late. He followed this up with Closer Than Before in October 2018. On July 19, 2019, he released a full-length studio album titled Matter of Time—available on Spotify, TIDAL, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.
