Boulé-Base 11 Fellows Program

The Boulé-Base 11 Fellows program is a flagship program designed through the partnership of Base 11 and the first Greek-letter society for African American professionals, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (also known as the Boulé). The program is designed to provide students, early career adults and entrepreneurs (up to age 34) with the Access, Awareness and Belief they need to become highly trained and well-connected STEM leaders who are positioned to serve as game changers in the fields of industry, science, medicine, and law.

About the Program

The Boulé – Base 11 Fellows Program is looking for individuals from high school juniors to early career adults and entrepreneurs, up to age 34, to apply for 2023 – 24 program events. Applications are now being accepted for the self-paced program, set to align with the academic year. The program provides candidates with mentoring, digital resources, and experiences to accelerate their STEM related pursuits.

Program Benefits

The Boulé-Base 11 Fellows Program will largely increase the Access, Awareness and Belief of minorities in STEM through the development of networks and relationships with well-connected mentors and role models through Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and partnering professionals of Black America.

Additionally, the virtual program will provide a collection of carefully curated resources and opportunities to connect with industry professionals. Additional program benefits include:

  • Exclusive access to STEM related competitions to gain marketable experience, cash prizes, and invaluable direct exposure to the most successful African American senior executives and entrepreneurs in the world.

  • Exclusive opportunity to submit a Proposal for Parity to address wealth, health, education, and/or income gaps in America.
  • Optimal access and visibility to exclusive opportunities in the most lucrative and innovative fields of STEM.

How to Apply

Applications for the Boulé – Base 11 Fellows Program can be accessed through Base 11 Digital, the web-based platform and app that houses all programs and opportunities being offered by Base 11 and our partners.

Earning the Fellows Designation

Boulé – Base 11 Fellow candidates are those who have been accepted into the program and engage in program activities.

To earn the official Fellow’s designation, candidates must complete the 5 required components of the program, designed to provide students and early career adults (from high school juniors to age 34) with the Access, Awareness and Belief they need to become highly trained and well-connected STEM leaders who are positioned to serve as game changers in the fields of industry, science, medicine, and law:
  • Optimize a digital profile for access and visibility for developing STEM opportunities.
  • Complete a Personal Development Guide to help shape your unique road to success.
  • Receive mentorship from well-decorated African American professionals for insights on the pathways in STEM and the variety of avenues available to you.
  • Attend executive-level seminars for insights and best practices for navigating professional spaces while showing up as your whole self.
  • Submit a proposal for parity as a chance to pitch your solution for addressing wealth gaps in America through the use of technology.

Upon the completion of the program components, candidates will receive an official Boulé – Base 11 Fellow certification in recognition of your commitment to excellence and the acceleration of your STEM career success.
