This vision drives everything we do and reflects our colleagues’ personal mission to improve the lives of people with cancer. In a meeting with the investment community, we outlined strategic priorities for our newly formed Oncology organization, and how our deep and diverse pipeline, industry-leading Oncology expertise, and anticipated near- and mid-term catalysts are expected to position the company to deliver strong growth and shareholder value. The Pfizer Rare disease team was very happy to welcome in its Brussels headquarters Christina Verhofstadt and Denis Wolfs from the recently founded AMYBEL patient association. Under the motto “Bring Amyloidosis into the light,” the purpose of Amybel is to inform, guide and support patients with Amyloidosis. The two board members of Amybel shared with us their personal story and how they got diagnosed, which even reinforced our commitment to support them and raise awareness around this rare and often underdiagnosed condition. Amyloidosis causes an abnormal accumulation of parts of proteins and can affect different tissues and organs, such as the heart for instance. An early diagnose can make a real difference in the evolution of the disease. For more information on the disease check today www.amyloidose.be and very soon www.amybel.be as well. #Amyloidosis #RareDisease #RadiOrg #PfizerBelgium Maura Verdoliva Stefaan Osaer Quentin Vander Stricht Dave Ceyssens Marie-Lise Verschelden Arnoud den Ouden Ruben Weckx Michiel Vanmeert, PhD, PharmD Ingrid Van Steenberge Mieke Vandenberghe, MD Bharati Shivalkar Arturo Prieto Rodríguez

As the Enterprise Chair of Pfizer’s Global Black Community colleague resource group, my leadership team and I outlined four priorities for 2024 that are aimed at helping Pfizer attract and retain Black talent at all levels within the company.    One of these priorities, which I am proud to share here, is our expanded engagement with historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and the students they serve. Last week, in honor of the MLK Holiday in the United States, we held a program titled, “Preserving the Dream: Advancing Education and Equity for MLK’s Legacy” with special guests, Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis, President, Benedict College (SC), Dr. Paulette Dillard, President, Shaw University (NC), and Dr. Tashni-Ann Dubroy, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Howard University (DC). We were excited to introduce not only these outstanding women to our diverse population of colleagues at Pfizer but also the value of an HBCU education. In the words of Dr. King, a Morehouse College graduate, “I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality, and freedom for their spirits." Like Dr. King, we can all empower change.
