Zach Lavin made an impressive international debut with Team Canada at the 2019 World Championships. Lavin was 10th in tournament scoring (fourth Canadian) with three goals and five assists for eight points.

In 2021, he was one of 17 players selected to represent Canada at the worlds held once again in Ostrava, Czech Republic. At both worlds, the Canadians earned a silver medal.

PERSONAL
Started playing Para ice hockey with the Calgary Scorpions in 2016 after being introduced to the sport by Chris Cederstrand, a former member of Canada’s National Sledge Team… Had both legs amputated below the knee after getting lost on a hiking trip in the Rocky Mountains for three days and suffering frostbite in February 2016.
