Great product. A game-changer for my dog. I used it for a few days now to talk to her when I'm at work and it's perfect. She loves hearing my voice during the day. The audio quality is surprisingly clear, it's like having a virtual visit with my pet.

The remote usage is where this feeder truly shines. The app lets me manage feeding schedules easily and I can manually initiate a feeding. Customizing portion sizes is a breeze, and the user-friendly interface makes the entire process straightforward – a major win for someone who isn't tech-savvy like myself.

I tested the battery backup to make sure it works in case there's an outage while I'm away and it worked flawlessly (not sure how long the battery lasts though).

A few nice touches are the velcro strap that comes with it that ensures my pup cant knock the lid open and the bowl is dishwasher safe and that I recorded my voice to let my dog know when the food is coming so she knows and is ready.

Highly recommend. The audio works like a charm, easy peasy to handle. They threw in a velcro latch, which is a smart move to keep my dog from turning it into a 'knock it over and take however much food you want dispenser' . And just in case the power takes a break, there's a backup battery.

The app is pretty slick with a bunch of useful features. You can manage schedules, put out food manually, control how much gets served, drop a recorded message (because who doesn't love a talking food bowl?), and of course, keep an eye on things with the live camera and audio.

1) I emailed support to get instructions to set up the voice announcement on this feeder. 2) It jammed with small kibbles. I received a robo email response telling me that “We are working on it”. That was two weeks ago. This is RCA? More likely a Chinese company that was licensed by RCA to market under the RCA name. Don’t buy this feeder!
