A LEGACY OF GIVING BACK
At Food & Wine, charity and sustainability have always been a part of our DNA. That’s why we introduced Food & Wine Gives in 2019. This philanthropic initiative was created to help facilitate meaningful change through community outreach and by supporting our outstanding charitable partners.
In 2010, nonprofit Share Our Strength launched this national campaign to help end childhood hunger in the United States. Through emergency grants and advocacy awareness, No Kid Hungry is working to ensure kids get the food they need, both during the coronavirus pandemic and in its aftermath.
Founded by 2013 Food & Wine Best New Chef, Chris Shepherd, Southern Smoke is a crisis relief organization created to support members of the food and beverage community. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, the nonprofit has distributed more than $6.5 million to individuals nationwide.
