In collaboration with our Belonging & Inclusion Committee, Womxn's ERG and Ace Beverage Group, we invited all North American employees to join an International Women's Month fireside chat with some incredible women: Caroline Begley, Vice-President of Marketing; Vanita Kakkar, Senior Director of Human Resources; and Brittany Yeng co-founder of Skrewball Whiskey. With our theme this is year being #InspireInclusion, they were able to delve into topics from personal achievements, overcoming barriers in their careers, and how we all have a part to play in supporting each others personal and professional growth. Together we'll continue to be the change-makers, supporters, and leaders in our communities!

For National Kahlúa Day, our Liqueur Brand Team celebrated the brew-tastic occasion by stirring things up at Corby! From coast-to-coast, our employees gathered together for an opportunity to have fun, collaborate and enjoy their favourite brews ☕️

This year, we are commemorating two centuries of setting the standard in single malt whisky. The Glenlivet pioneered the introduction of the Speyside-style of single malt whisky to the world as founder George Smith became the first licensed distiller in the parish of Glenlivet. Often imitated but never bettered, The Glenlivet is the one that set the fruity, floral Speyside style for which the region is now revered for. To mark this momentous occasion, a limited 12-Year-Old 200 Year Anniversary edition has been produced that is 100% American Oak Matured, and the perfect addition for any whisky lover. We're breaking the ice with our stunning Polar Ice Vodka Bar located at Lake Louise Ski Resort in Alberta! Created with 90,000 pounds of ice, the bar offers an immersive ambience alongside a variety of our brands: Polar Ice Vodka, Malibu, Jameson, Skrewball, Kahlua and Cabot Trail. At Corby Spirit and Wine Limited and Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd, we are all celebrating the newest moment of triumph as our flagship brand was awarded the prestigious Corn Whisky of the Year award for J.P. Wiser's 18-Year-Old, Best Limited Expression award for J.P. Wiser's 13-Year-Old Hickory and a gold medal for J.P. Wiser's 10-Year-Old at the 14th annual Canadian Whisky Awards   Accompanying those wins, our dynamic Canadian whisky portfolio also received 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal!   As the industry is always changing, the Canadian Whisky Awards added a new category to bring attention to excellence in Canadian whisky beyond pure sensory-based achievement. The first recipient of the Brand Ambassador of the Year was our very own Dave Mitton, Global Brand Ambassador, for the tremendous work he has done in leading the charge in education and advocacy on a global scale.   The driving force behind our success will always be our Master Blender Dr. Don Livermore and the incredible teams across Corby and Hiram Walker who continue to contribute their expertise, creativity, and relentlessness to redefine the Canadian whisky landscape, one award-winning bottle at a time.   Cheers to more accomplishments, innovations, and reaching new heights together!

As we near the end of the year, I wanted to take a moment to look back on the incredible journey we've had at Corby Spirit and Wine Limited.   We've welcomed our new colleagues Ace Beverage Group; expanded our portfolio to include super premium additions like Bumbu, Luc Belaire, Código, Jefferson and Skrewball; lead the charge with our J.P. Wiser's 10-Year-Old, Polar Ice Vodka Berry Blizzard, and Altos Margarita Ready-to-Serve innovations; made strides on our S&R commitment; continued on our transformation agenda to sharpen our execution; and worked to make Corby an even more inclusive and convivial space.   All of this would not have been possible if we didn't have an incredible team who is committed and passionate about the work they do. I am incredibly proud of our team who have been working tirelessly to share the essence of who Corby is with our customers and consumers.   Let’s raise a glass to toast to a new year filled with conviviality.   Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

For the month of December, our Jameson Irish Whiskey team is partnering with Union Station to bring the holiday spirit to 43,000 daily commuters 🎄 As the new focal point in the Bay Street promenade, the Jameson tree has over 250 bottles that feature lights, music, and a whiskey barrel base. With classic holiday jingles and the perfect gift growing on its branches, the 11-foot tree is where friendships flourish, making it the ultimate destination for holiday cheer! 📸: @torontounion on Instagram
