The National Black Supplier Conference

For more than 35 years, the National Business League has been serving the national black supplier and diversity community for all that time. In 1986, The National Association of Black Suppliers (NABS), formerly known as the National Association of Black Suppliers (NABAS), was formed. NABAS was formed by a group of Black business owners, whose largest customers were automotive manufacturers listed in Black Enterprise Magazine’s [BE] Top 100. In 2012, the National Association of Black Suppliers merged with the Michigan Black Chamber of Commerce, who in 2017, merged with the National Business League to accommodate the organization’s expanded national mission and purpose to include suppliers in other industries and service sectors globally. The NBL’s Black supplier pipeline now encompasses 1,200 members in 50 states, introduces an annual revenue of $6 billion into the national economy, and employs more than 30,000 workers. This year’s 2022 event is the inaugural virtual experience of the association with the 35th Annual National Black Supplier Conference, featuring more than 1,000 Black suppliers, 100 Fortune 500 corporate partners, and Tier 1-4 opportunities.

LIVE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE

This year, the NBL is celebrating more than 35 years driving commerce-driven opportunities for Black suppliers through the global supply chain network. Because of the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Black businesses across the country, this year’s conference is the largest Black Supplier event of its kind in the U.S. and internationally. The conference will be attended by 300 suppliers and Fortune 500 purchasing and supply chain companies ready to engage opportunities in the marketplace.

BUSINESS FREE ADMISSION

Because of the disproportionate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the health/economic crisis on Black business and small businesses across the country, this year’s conference will be of free admission and conference fee waived.

CORPORATE EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITY

Focused on economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSBC is offering a virtual exhibitor experience for corporations looking to do business with the vast global network of Black suppliers. The corporation will have the opportunity to host an exhibitor space with other major corporation looking to increase their spend with Black businesses who are looking to network, share capabilities and potentially engage in a business match.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The 35th Annual National Black Supplier Conference is well attended by corporate partners and many of them see the opportunity for increased exposure, promotion, engagement and benefits associated with becoming a sponsor. This year’s conference is already sponsored by AMEX, DTE, FIAT Chrysler, Flag Star Bank, Ford, GM, Huntington Bank, MPS Group, Toyota and many more, including you. Become a corporate sponsor today.
