Global Battery Chemicals & Technology
for a Clean Energy Future

About us

EV Metals Group plc (EVM) is building a global battery chemicals and technology company committed to a clean energy future

We are focused on the production of high purity chemicals required in rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy storage.

The global transformation to electrification is happening at pace, creating huge demand across the battery chemicals supply chain from upstream mining of in-situ critical minerals, to midstream refining of high purity battery chemicals.

As structural deficits in global supply chains for rechargeable batteries emerge over the next decade, EVM is strategically positioned to become a leading supplier of battery chemicals for EVs and renewable energy storage.

Building integrated supply chains for high purity battery chemicals

Our business model is based on the integration of upstream (mining) and midstream (chemical refining) supply chains for critical minerals from geopolitically aligned sources to produce high purity battery chemicals vital to the global energy transition.

We are developing integrated battery chemicals supply chains for Original Equipment Manufacturers in growth markets including the Middle East, Europe and North America.  This will involve upstream production of lithium and nickel intermediate products via participation and ownership of mining mineral resources, facilitated by joint ventures and long-term offtake agreements for midstream processing at our planned chemical refining plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Developing a World Class Lithium Chemicals Plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Our Lithium Chemicals Plant (LCP) in Yanbu Industrial City in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is being developed as a project of national strategic importance delivering into Vision 2030.

As our flagship project, the LCP is set to play a critical role in the Kingdom’s industrial diversification efforts. The plant is being developed with an initial nameplate capacity to produce 50,000 TPA of high purity Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (LHM), a crucial chemical product expected to face significant deficits by 2030 due to overwhelming global demand.

As a catalyst for creating a new industry within the Kingdom, the LCP will create 4,000 positions during construction and sustaining 400 permanent jobs during operation. EV Metals Group is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of talent, providing access to know-how and rewarding employment opportunities to foster a skilled workforce for the future.

Yanbu Industrial City

EVM presents a unique value proposition:

  • Integrated – Developing our global assets across the battery chemicals supply chain based on our “mine-to-refine” business model
  • Transparent – Working to adhere to the highest sustainability standards, tracing supply to the mine
  • Inclusive – pairing opportunities, capital, partners and communities to create win-win-win outcomes
  • Innovative – forging opportunities beyond Individual value chain steps
