Cut2it’s mission is to help people communicate, collaborate, and share their content more effectively and make that process easy.
Cut2it was founded in 2010 on a simple idea: Clip a video quickly and easily. Comment on it. Share with friends, colleagues, a class, or with anyone. Our founder said, “I want to cut to the good stuff" and that is how the company got its name. This small but impactful need grew from concept to reality and ultimately into the patented cut2it technology platform.
Today we are a company with two products built on that platform. We developed BEEMLive to be a better platform for hosting and recording online meetings and combined it with Videomine.io a Media Project Management System (MPMS) to work with those meeting recordings and your other digital media. These solutions are powerful and unique on their own and enhanced by the synergy of their integration.
The initial spark behind cut2it can still be found as our virtual clipping tool in Videomine.io where we expanded that idea into a collaborative digital content management platform to organize, index, publish and stream all your video content easily.
