UK’s Travel Bulletin honours Thailand and TAT with prestigious 2018 Star Awards
Bangkok, 14 September, 2018 – Hot on the heels of the multiple accolades earned in this year’s Readers’ Travel Awards from the Conde Nast Traveller UK magazine, Thailand has been graced with yet more prestigious titles in the Travel Bulletin Star Awards 2018 announced this week in London.
Thailand was voted No.1 ‘Star Cultural & Heritage Holidays Destination’ worldwide by the travel agent readership of the UK trade magazine Travel Bulletin.
Meanwhile the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Amazing Thailand received a place as a finalist in the ‘Star Online Training Course’ category.
The ‘Star Online Training Course’ award for Amazing Thailand holds extra significance, as it represents the first time for an Asian destination to have made it into the winners’ line up for this particular category.
This year’s 22nd edition of Travel Bulletin Star Awards 2018 were the biggest yet, celebrating destinations, tourism boards, hoteliers, cruise lines, airlines and other sectors of the global travel industry.
