We know: Shopping for the home can be overwhelming. Choices abound, and it can be difficult to pinpoint your own style. So, if you're looking to outfit your home without a designer (or even if you have a designer but are on the hunt for expert-approved gifts or accessories), why not enlist the help of a professional in a different way? By shopping from one, that is. Dozens of designers across the country have stores, offshoots of their design practices where they can share their favorite finds with the masses—and, if you're lucky enough to catch the designers themselves in-shop, likely impart a little wisdom on how best to use them, too. From New York to Nashville, Houston to the Bay Area, here are some of the best designer-owned stores.
