HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball and basketball at Martha Layne Collins High School (Shelbyville, Kentucky)...named to the All-District and All-Region teams...batted .305 with 29 runs scored, 33 RBIs, and three home runs as a senior...also had a 1-3 mark on the mound with three saves, a 2.96 ERA, and 52 strikeouts in 54.1 innings during 2013...hit a high school career-high .380 as a junior...helped MLCHS to district and region championships.
