Biography

OVERALL: Finished her career as USI's all-time leader in walks (99)...also ranked second all-time at USI in career triples (16) and runs scored (155), tied for fifth in hit-by-pitches (17), eighth in at-bats (642), 13th in RBIs (100) and tied for 17th in home runs...was a two-time Academic All-All-District IV honoree and a four-time Academic All-GLVC honoree.

2019: Earned third-team NFCA All-America honors as well as honorable mention All-America accolades from D2CCA...also was first-team All-Midwest Region by both the NFCA and D2CCA as well as a unanimous first-team All-GLVC selection...earned Academic All-District IV honors as well as Academic All-GLVC accolades...played and started all of USI's 56 games, leading USI with a career-high .363 batting average to go along with 11 doubles, five triples, four home runs and 32 RBIs...paced the Eagles with 47 runs scored, good enough for sixth in the GLVC...was 36th, nationally, and second in the GLVC in total triples...had a season-high eight-game hitting streak in March that saw her hit .519 (14-27) with four doubles, a triple, six RBIs and 11 runs scored...had 15 multi-hit games, including six outings with three hits...also had seven games with at least two RBIs, including a season-high three RBIs twice...led USI with 27 walks and was hit by a pitch a team-high 10 times...was named the GLVC Player of the Week for her efforts in USI's final week of The Spring Games.

2018: Racked up Academic All-District IV honors as well as Academic All-GLVC distinction after playing and starting all of USI's 64 games at second base...was named to the NCAA II Softball Championship All-Tournament team after hitting .313 with two home runs and four RBIs in USI's five-game run to a national championship...hit USI's first-ever home run at the NCAA II Softball Championship on her 21st birthday when she launched a game-tying, solo shot over the leftfield fence in the bottom of the seventh inning of USI's 5-4, extra-inning win over Saint Leo in the national semifinals...came back the next inning to drive in the game-winning run on a walk-off fielder's choice...led the Eagles in the postseason with a .356 batting average, two doubles, two home runs, nine RBIs and 17 runs scored...also had a .533 slugging percentage, 13 walks and a .500 on-base percentage in the postseason...on the year, hit .325 with eight doubles, seven triples, six home runs and 29 RBIs...set a single-season school record for at-bats (206) and posted the second-most walks (34) in a single-season...had a .519 slugging percentage and a team-high tying .420 on-base percentage...ranked second in the GLVC and 10th in the nation in total triples...began the year with a season-high 11-game hitting streak that saw her hit .472 with a double, five triples, nine RBIs and 15 runs scored...ended the year with a three-game hitting streak...had multiple hits in a team-high 20 games, including a season-high three hits in four contests...had at least two RBIs in five games, including a season-high four, all off a grand slam, in USI's 8-5, game-two win over Quincy.

2017: Collected Academic All-GLVC accolades for the second straight season after playing in 59 of USI's 60 games during her sophomore season...finished the year with a .289 batting average, seven doubles, four triples, two home runs and 33 RBIs, playing the majority of the season as the Eagles' lead-off hitter...was named the GLVC Player of the Week after hitting .500 with a pair of doubles, a triple, a home run and eight RBIs at the Midwest Region Crossover in February...tied for third in the GLVC and 65th in the nation in triples...had a season-high eight-game hitting streak in late February and early March...had at least two hits in 14 games and three hits twice, including a season-best four hits in USI's game-one win over Drury in March...had at least two RBIs in seven contests and at least three RBIs twice...racked up a season-best five RBIs in USI's 8-0 win over William Jewell during the regular season...reached base safely in USI's first 21 games, recording at least one hit in 17 of those contests.

2016: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors after playing in 38 games, making 32 starts, in her first year with the Eagles...hit .182 with three doubles, a home run, and six RBIs...started 27 games at second base and five at third base during her first year of collegiate softball...had a pair of multi-hit and multi-RBI games...also had a pair of three-game hitting streaks as well as a four-game reached base safely streak.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Tri-West High School in Lizton, Indiana, where she earned varsity letters in basketball and softball...was a four-time All-Sagamore Conference honoree as well as a four-time All-Hendricks County performer...hit .495 with 13 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 45 RBIs as a senior in 2015...racked up a .486 batting average in 2014 after recording nine doubles, seven triples, seven home runs and 47 RBIs as a sophomore in 2013...helped the Bruins to four sectional and two regional championships...also was a member of the TWHS's 2013 IHSAA Class 3A championship team.

TRAVEL: Played for the Indiana Prospects in 2015, helping her squad to first-place finishes at the Stingrays Showcase Tournament and the USA Premiere Showcase...hit .400 with six doubles, three triples, three home runs and 27 RBIs in 2015.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Scott and Cindy Johnson.
