Biography

OVERALL: Finished her career ranked eighth all-time at USI in career putouts (728)...tied for 12th all-time at USI with five career triples and tied for 19th all-time with 11 career home runs...was a three-time Academic All-GLVC honoree.

2019: Collected Academic All-GLVC accolades...played in 47 games, making 43 starts behind the plate in her final year of collegiate softball...posted career-highs for doubles (5), home runs (6) and RBIs (24)...had a season-high six-game hitting streak in early March that saw her hit .471 (8-17) with two doubles, a triple, a pair of home runs and 10 RBIs...had eight multi-hit games and seven games with at least two RBIs...had a season-high three RBIs three times.

2018: Garnered Academic All-GLVC laurels after playing in 63 games and making 62 starts behind the plate for the Eagles...posted a .218 batting average with four doubles, three triples, three home runs and 21 RBIs...had a two-run triple to tie Rockhurst before scoring the game-winning run on an error in USI's 6-5, game-one win over the Hawks...came back the following day with a walk-off RBI-double in USI's 6-5, game-one win over William Jewell...had a season-high six-game hitting streak in February that saw her hit .389 with a triple, home run, four runs scored and five RBIs.

2017: Collected Academic All-GLVC accolades after appearing in 18 games and making three starts during her freshman campaign...hit .158 with seven runs, a pair of doubles and one RBI in 19 at-bats during her second year with the team...her RBI-double in the last half of the seventh inning in USI's 8-7 victory over Quincy helped the Eagles overcome a six-run deficit to force extra innings.

2016: Played in 41 games, making 34 starts, in her first year with the Eagles...hit .236 with two home runs, five doubles, and 13 RBIs...started 24 games at second base, seven behind the plate, and three as the Eagles' designated player...recorded at least two hits in four games, with a a season-high three hits in USI's 10-6 win over Lincoln Memorial...also had four games with a season-high two RBIs...had a .464 success rate in advancing runners.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in Owensboro, Kentucky, where she earned varsity letters in cross country and softball...was a two-time KHSAA Class A All-State honoree, earning first-team honors as a senior in 2015 and second-team honors as a junior in 2014...led the Aces with a .514 batting average in 2015...also hit .359 in 2014...earned All-District honors as a junior and a senior and was twice named to the Western Kentucky All-Star team (2014 and 2015)...also was named to the Kentucky All-Stars team in 2015...was a multiple-time Academic All-State honoree...helped lead OCHS to multiple conference titles.

TRAVEL: Competed for the Kentucky Thunder 16U squad that won the USFA World Series National Championship in 2012...played for the Louisville Sluggers in the summer of 2014, hitting .422...also played for the Pride Elite Gold in the fall of 2015, where she hit .535.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Kenny and Stacey Barr.
