Finished her career ranked first all-time at USI with 1,900 career digs...became the first player in program history to reach the 500-dig plateau in multiple seasons as she accomplished the milestone three times.
2017
Earned third-team Academic All-America honors as well as Academic All-District IV and Academic All-GLVC accolades after finishing the year ranked 11th in the GLVC with a team-high 4.66 digs per set...played in and started all of USI's 31 matches and 116 sets, posting her third straight 500-plus dig effort as she finished with 541...was 10th in the GLVC and 81st, nationally, in total digs...recorded double-digit dig totals in 26 matches, including the final 13 matches of the year...had a season-high 31 digs in USI's five-set loss to Indianapolis and notched at least 20 digs in 11 matches...had a team-best 25 aces on the year, including a season-high five in USI's four-set win over Quincy.
2016
Earned Academic All-District IV and Academic All-GLVC honors after finishing third in the GLVC with a team-best 5.41 digs per set...became the first player in program history with back-to-back seasons of 500-plus digs as she finished with 568...her 5.41 digs per set surpassed Kayla Heldman's single-season program record for average (5.00), which she set in 2013...had at least 10 digs in all 30 matches, including a single-match record tying 37 in USI's four-set loss to Missouri S&T...had at least 30 digs in a match twice during the 2016 campaign...played and started in all of USI's 30 matches and 105 sets, recording 0.22 aces per set...had a season-high four aces in USI's five-set win over Valdosta State.
2015
Earned Academic All-GLVC honors for the second straight year...had a break-out year as USI's starting libero, coming within 15 digs of USI's single-season record as she finished with a career-high 575 on the year...finished the season ranked eighth in the GLVC and 89th in the nation with 4.87 digs per set...was sixth in the conference and 55th in Division II in total digs...started all 32 matches and 118 sets for USI at libero...had at least 10 digs in 30 matches and 20 or more digs in 12 matches...was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week after averaging 6.1 digs per set in USI's five-set wins over Quincy and Truman State...had a career-high 36 digs against Quincy, just one shy of USI's single-match record of 37, set by Amber Gogel in 2007...was named to the Dunn Hospitality Invitational All-Tournament team after averaging 5.43 digs per set to help the Eagles to a 3-1 record in USI's season-opening weekend...had a season-high five aces in USI's three-set win over Lake Superior State.
2014
Collected Academic All-GLVC honors after starting in 28 of USI’s 30 matches as a freshman...totaled seven kills, 19 assists, and 216 digs in 102 sets of work...ended the season averaging 0.19 assists and 2.12 digs per set...tallied double-digit digs in eight matches...tallied a season-high 17 digs in USI’s five-set win over Midwest Region opponent Ashland University at the 2014 GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Munster High School in Munster, Indiana, where she was a three-year letter winner in volleyball...a scholar-athlete, Farrell was named first-team All-Area in 2011, 2012, and 2013...she also garnered first-team All-Conference honors as a junior in 2012 and a senior in 2013...registered 432 kills and 301 digs as a junior...had 304 kills, 64 aces, and 474 digs during her senior season...helped lead MHS to sectional and regional championships in 2011 and 2013.
