Career: Finished her career ranked first in games started (119); second in games played (119); fourth in free throws made (364), fifth in scoring (1,567), three-point field goals attempted (376) and field goals made (530); sixth in three-point field goals made (143), three throws attempted (454) and steals (185); tied for seventh in blocks (69); 10th in assists (239); and 13th in rebounds (530).

2017-18: Earned second-team All-Midwest Region honors and was a unanimous first-team All-GLVC honoree after starting all of USI's 31 games...also was named the Old National Bank/USI Female Student Athlete of the Year as well as Academic All-GLVC...led USI with 17.8 points per game...also averaged 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per outing...finished third in the GLVC in scoring, sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.387), seventh in minutes played (33.6), eighth in field goal percentage (.522) and ninth in steals (2.0 spg)...racked up a season-high 27 points twice, including USI's GLVC Tournament win over Lewis, and had a career-high 12 rebounds in USI's win over Rockhurst...dished out a career-high eight assists in USI's win over Northwood and matched a career-best five steals on two occasions...also matched a career-high four blocks in two different games...reached double figures in the scoring column 28 times and had 13 20-point outings...also had 10-or more rebounds in two games...had a pair of double-doubles on the year.

2016-17: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors as well as Academic All-GLVC accolades after playing and starting in all of USI's 29 games...became the 17th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000-career point plateau in USI's regular-season-ending win at Bellarmine...averaged a team-best 15.4 points per contest, good enough for ninth in the GLVC...also contributed 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per appearance...finished fifth in the GLVC in free throw percentage (.825), seventh in steals (1.97 spg), and 11th in three-point field goal percentage (.382)...reached double-figures in the scoring column 26 times, with eight games of 20-plus points...had a career-high 28 points in USI's win over Puerto Rico-Mayaguez...posted a season-high nine rebounds in the Eagles' victory over Wisconsin-Parkside, five assists in USI's win over Hannibal-LaGrange and five steals in USI's win at Saint Joseph's.

2015-16: Collected Academic All-GLVC honors for the second straight season after starting all of USI's 27 games, bringing her consecutive starts streak to 59 to begin her collegiate career...averaged 11.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest in her second year with the Eagles...recorded double-figures in the scoring column 15 times, including a career-best 27 points in USI's win over Maryville...dished out a career-high six assists in back-to-back wins over Salem International and Northern Michigan...had a career-high four steals in USI's overtime loss to Saint Joseph's and a career-best four blocks in USI's win over Midway...averaged a team-best 14.4 points to go along with 4.9 rebounds in USI's final 10 games...finished the year ranked seventh in the GLVC in offensive rebounds (2.74 orpg), eighth in free throw percentage (.802), and 20th in scoring.

2014-15: Made a huge contribution to the team as a freshman as she played and started all of USI's 32 games, earning Academic All-GLVC honors in the process...averaged 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per appearance...ranked 15th in the GLVC with 1.91 offensive rebounds per game...recorded double-figures in the scoring column 10 times, with a season-best 19 points coming in USI's wins over Ohio Valley and Harris-Stowe State...had her best game of the year in USI's win over No. 2 Lewis in the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament as she finished with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, a block, and three steals...also did not commit a turnover in that contest...in just her second game of her career, Grooms had 19 points, eight rebounds, and a season-high five assists against Ohio Valley...had a double-double in USI's regular-season loss to Drury with 11 points and a season-high 10 rebounds...matched her season-high of three steals in USI's loss to Drury in the GLVC Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Illinois, where she earned first-team All-State honors from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association in 2012-13 and 2013-14...also was honorable mention All-State by the IBCA in 2011-12...was the Wabash Valley Player of the Year in 2013-14...finished her career with 1,669 points...holds MHS's single-season scoring record (565)...led MHS to a undefeated regular-season and to a school-record 25 consecutive wins in 2013-14...MHS finished the season 25-1...MHS was 93-11 and won four conference titles during Grooms' four-year career...averaged 21.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game during her senior season...contributed 20.7 points and 7.2 rebounds to MHS as a junior...was a mult-sport start at MHS, earning varsity letters in basketball and volleyball...was named to several All-Tournament teams and earned All-Conference honors in basketball and volleyball.
