2017-18: Set a new USI single-season record with a 76.9 strokes per round average and a new career-mark with a 77.3 strokes per round average...played 11 tournaments and 25 rounds as a senior....posted three second-place finishes and a pair of thirds...was 21st at the NCAA II Super Region 1 with a three round 232 (74-80-78).
2016-17: Was named All-GLVC after averaging a team-best 77.31 strokes per round in 26 rounds over 12 tournaments...77.31 stroke average is the lowest in school history...had five top-five finishes and nine top-tens with a best finish of second at the Maryville Fall Invitational...had a low round of 72 twice...finished ninth at GLVC Championship...also finished ninth at the NCAA II East Super Regional where she was one stroke short of advancing to the NCAA Championships.
2015-16: After transferring at semester break, competed in 15 rounds, earning three top-five and four top-10 finishes...finished the year with the second best single season strokes-per-round average in program history (78.0)...recorded an 18-hole low of 72 during the final round of the GLVC Championship to finish sixth with a 226...finished second a the Maryville Spring Invitational with a season low 36-hole score of 157 (82-75).
Transfer: Transferred from Indiana University where she played in two tournaments as a freshman...ended with a score of 239 (80-79-80) in the Cougar Classic, with the 79 representing her low round of the year...finished with a 259 (84-93-82) at the Longhorn Invitational...compiled a season strokes-per-round average of 83.0...did not play in any tournaments during the fall season of her sophomore year.
High School: Sectional medalist as a senior with a score of 69...medalist in 10 of 17 tournaments her final season at Evansville North...Indiana Optimist Tournament champion with a score of 68...All-City, All-SIAC and All-State honoree...19th at the state tournament as a junior...All-City and All-SIAC teams...played in Yestingsmeier Cup as a junior and senior...won a pair of team SIAC titles, as well as two sectional championships, two city championships and two state finals...All-Region as a freshman and sophomore at Hopkins Central...second in the region as a sophomore, fourth as a freshman...won back-to-back regional team titles and made the state finals both years...served as class vice president (2010-11) and class secretary (2011-12)...also lettered in basketball and tennis.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Lu Anne Howerton...sister, Ashleigh, played golf collegiately at Northern Kentucky University.
