Inspired By

I am grateful for the help of several professors for their guidance throughout my academic career that has culminated in this Fulbright award. I am particularly thankful to Dr. Gregory Hutcheson for encouraging me to explore the Fulbright program as a possibility and also for his assistance throughout the application process. Prof. Brian Weinberg and Dr. Ian Stansel have been invaluable mentors for me in creative writing, which helped me develop my plan for a supplemental project for my Fulbright application. Prof. Weinberg also provided me with a recommendation for the Fulbright award. Dr. Frances McDonald has guided me in my scholarly development by serving as an advisor for my English Thesis, and she was also kind enough to recommend me to the Fulbright program. Finally, Dr. Kehaulani Vaughn instilled a passion for education in me and was able to speak to my teaching capabilities in a recommendation to the program. I am truly thankful to have such wonderful mentors that have prepared me for this exciting opportunity.
