Biography

Career: Finished his four-year career with 70 goals, which is RIT's Division I school record … holds the Division I school mark with three hat-tricks ... seventh in RIT's Division I era with 115 career points on 70 goals and 45 assists in 148 games … second all-time in RIT’s Division I era with 26 power-play goals and 11 game-winning markers.

2018-19: Served as a co-captain … named a Division I Men’s Hockey Senior CLASS Second Team All-American for his outstanding work on the ice, in the classroom and in the community … earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association Third Team honors … three-time Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week, Oct. 22, Jan. 15 and Feb. 26 … was NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey First Star of the Week, Jan. 15 … named the RIT Male Athlete of the Week, Oct. 22 … won RIT’s Greg Moss Hard Hat Award, Dan & Laurie Barrows Award and was co-winner of the Louis Spiotti Coaches Award … led RIT with 18 goals this season and added 11 assists for 29 points…. became the 11th player in RIT's Division I history to reach 100 points in his career in a 6-3 win over American International on Jan. 11 … tied a career-high with four points on two goals and two assists in that win … scored twice and added an assist in a 5-2 win over AIC … scored two power-play goals, including the game-winner late in regulation and added an assist in a 5-3 win over Robert Morris … got RIT on the board with a power-play goal in the eventual 3-1 win over Sacred Heart in game three of the AHA Quarterfinal series … led all of Division I with 10 power-play goals … tallied three game-winning goals …  tallied a hat-trick in a 6-1 win over Colgate during Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend at Blue Cross Arena … had five multiple-point games … Tigers were 11-5-3 when he recorded a point. Set a Division I single-season program record by scoring 29 goals … was tied for second nationally in goals … added 13 assists for a team-best 42 points, while playing in all 37 games … All-Atlantic Hockey first team selection … co-winner of RIT's Louis Spiotti Coaches Award and sole recipient of the Greg Moss Hard Hat Award for grit and determination … led all Atlantic Hockey skaters with 24 goals in 28 league games and was second with 35 points … led the Tigers with nine power-play goals and four game-winning tallies … tied for eighth nationally in power-play goals … tied a Division I team record with two hat-tricks … second on the team with 126 shots on goal … earned Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month honors for February, 2018 … named RIT Male Athlete of the Week, Feb. 19… garnered NCAA Ice Hockey First Star of the Week honors and AHA Player of the Week accolades a day later … led all NCAA players with 12 goals, four power-play tallies and two hat-tricks in February … recorded back-to-back hat-tricks, Feb. 12 to Feb. 17 … recorded his first hat-trick in a 6-5 overtime win over Mercyhurst … just five days later, tied a Division I single-game record by scoring four goals in a 5-0 win at Sacred Heart … scored RIT’s first three goals in the first 21 minutes and added a third period tally … was plus-3 in that game … had 11 goals over a five-game goal-scoring streak, Feb. 12 to Feb. 24 … recorded 18 points (12-6-18) over a nine-game point-scoring streak, Feb. 9 to March 3 … had 18 points over his final 10 games of the season … tallied three points (1-2-3) in three playoff games … had two assists, including the primary helper on Abbott Girduckis’ overtime goal in game one of the Atlantic Hockey First Round series, a 5-4 win over Sacred Heart … had nine points (6-3-9) in five games against Sacred Heart … tied a Division I team record with a seven-game goal-scoring streak, Nov. 10 to Dec. 2 … opened the season with a pair of goals in a 3-3 tie against No. 14 Northeastern University at Blue Cross Arena … was plus-9 over a six-game stretch, Oct. 27 to Nov. 11 … scored game-winning goals in back-to-back victories over Robert Morris … scored both goals and was plus-2 in a 2-0 win over Canisius … tallied two power-play goals in the regular season finale against Mercyhurst … led all of Division I with a goal in 21 different games … second nationally with 15 goals on home ice and 14 on the road … has 12 goals over the first 20 games and 17 over his final 17 contests … had seven more goals than any player in Atlantic Hockey play … his 24 goals in league play was tied for third all-time in one season by any Atlantic Hockey player … fired a career-high eight shots on goal in a 5-3 win over Robert Morris … Tigers were 13-11-2 when he recorded at least one point … led the team with 13 multiple-point effort … earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team honors. 2016-17: Appeared in all 37 games … enjoyed a breakout season, leading the team in scoring with 16 goals and 27 points … tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals … second on the Tigers with five power-play tallies … his 16 goals were tied for eighth among all players in Atlantic Hockey … fired 100 shots on goal, third most on the squad … named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week, Nov. 1 … recorded a career-high four points on two goals and two assists, and was plus-2 in a 6-3 win at Bentley … scored the game-winning highlight-reel goal in the final minute of regulation to snap a 3-3 tie and lift RIT to a 4-3 win at Mercyhurst … scored a pair of third period goals, including the game-winner that broke a 1-1 tie in RIT’s 3-1 victory over Sacred Heart … scored twice, including the game-winning tally in a 5-0 win at American International … had the number one play in the NCAA Men’s Hockey Top-5 Plays of the Week countdown, Nov. 29 and Feb. 14 … scored six goals and 10 points over his first seven games of the season … scored the six goals on his first 11 shots of the year … recorded a five-game point scoring streak (4-3-7), Jan. 6 to Jan. 20 … fired season-high six shots on goal six different times … blocked 14 shots … led RIT with 13 goals and 22 points in 28 Atlantic Hockey regular season contests … earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team honors. 2015-16: Appeared in 37 contests … tallied 17 points on seven goals and 10 assists … made his collegiate debut at St. Lawrence … scored his first collegiate goal and was plus-2 in a 4-0 win at Army West Point … scored in a loss at No. 2 Boston College … recorded his first multiple-point game with a goal and an assist against American International … scored a power-play goal and had an assist in a 5-2 win over Niagara … scored the game-winning power-play goal in a 4-2 win at Niagara … had four points in five postseason games … dished out a pair of assists in a 7-4 win over Robert Morris in the Atlantic Hockey Championship … scored an insurance goal in the 4-1 win over Mercyhurst in game two of the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinal series … fired season-high five shots on goal three times … had at least one shot on goal in 33 games … third on the team with 91 shots on goal … recorded 12 points on five goals and seven assists in 27 Atlantic Hockey regular season games … Tigers were 8-3-2 when he recorded a point … named to the AHC All-Academic Team. Before RIT: Played the last two seasons for the Kemptville 73’s of the Central Canadian Hockey League under former NHL goaltender Ron Tugnutt … in 2014-15, Brown finished 10th in league scoring with 69 points on 30 goals and 39 assists in just 47 games … was 10th in goals and 11th in assists in 2014-15 … named a CCHL Third Team All-Star … named the CCHL First Star of the Month in January, 2015 … season-high five points in win over Nepean … recorded 23 points on 12 goals and 11 assists in the month of January … Kemptville Team MVP … added 31 goals and 51 points in 2013-14 …  in two seasons with Kemptville, recorded 61 goals and 60 assists in 97 games … also played for the Brockville Braves in 2012-13.
