Improvements to U.S. 68 Fogleman Road to N.C. 150/Oak Ridge Road

​​​​​​​​​The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes a public meeting regarding the proposed project to improve N.C. 68 from Fogleman Road (S.R. 2129) to N.C. 150/Oak Ridge Road (S.R. 2137) in Oak Ridge.

The purpose of the project is to increase safety and traffic flow along this section of N.C. 68, which includes intersection improvements at Linville Road (S.R. 2022), Marketplace Drive and N.C. 150/Oak Ridge Road (S.R. 2137). The project will also address connectivity for bicyclists and pedestrians.

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Tuesday, March. 5, 2019
4-7 p.m.

Oak Ridge Town Hall
8315 Linville Road
Oak Ridge

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.

 

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.

The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted by March 20, 2019, via phone, email or mail.
