They are full time (40 hours per week) for a limited duration of time.  Although the length of time that the positions will be active cannot be determined, positions do have the potential to extend up to 3 years (36 months).

NCORR is looking for highly motivated and qualified individuals with skills and experience in the following areas:

A newly established agency focused on supporting survivors and communities impacted by Hurricanes Matthew and Florence, NCORR is actively recruiting people looking for a dynamic, results-driven workplace that is dedicated to serving disaster survivors and supporting recovery. NCORR will help design NC's recovery programs and will implement these programs in coordination with other State agencies, Federal partners and local communities.

As a member of our team you will be directly engaged in helping our fellow North Carolinians recover from Hurricanes Matthew and Florence, building stronger communities, and making our state more resilient for future disasters. You will be a part of a team planning and implementing housing and infrastructure programs to help survivors return to or remain in safe and sustainable housing through a variety of state and federally supported programs.

Ideal team members will possess:
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team to overcome complex challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented and collaborative workplace
  • Experience in a community development or disaster recovery organization
  • Program development and/or implementation experience
