The early music virtuosi of TENET return to 5BMF this season with The Sounds of Time, an exploration of 12th and 13th century songs by the French trouvères. Led by guest music director Robert Mealy, the program showcases the great lyric tradition of the troubadours, who adapted the musical forms invented by their Provençal counterparts and infused them with a lighter vein that produced a memorably tuneful body of music.

Since 1900, King Manor Museum has operated as a historic house museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting the legacy of Rufus King, one of the framers of the United States Constitution and an outspoken anti-slavery leader. The only historic house museum in Southeast Queens, King Manor engages its audiences through historic site tours, interactive exhibits, lectures, public programs, and school and community outreach.
