This Zephyr release includes enhancements to ARC processor support including
- Enabled hardware prefetcher and shared cluster cache (SCM - Shared Cluster Memory) for ARCv3 processors (HS5x & HS6x)
- Disabled Thread-local Storage support for platforms with two or more register banks

The GNU Toolchain for Synopsys ARC Processors, arc-2023.12-release is now available for download. This release introduces support for ARC-V RMX and RHX processor families based on the RISC-V instruction set architecture.

- Binutils pre-2.41 with ARC patches

The GNU Toolchain for Synopsys ARC Processors, 2023.09 is now available for download. Support is provided for ARC 600, ARC 700, EM, HS3x, HS4x, HS5x and HS6x processors. This is primarily a maintenance release which integrates newer upstream GCC, Binutils and GDB project releases.
