Edward Jones, Foundation Medical repeat as Best Places to Work

OKLAHOMA CITY (JR) – For the sixth consecutive year, Edward Jones and Foundation Medical Staffing received top ranking in their respective categories at the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma event Thursday night in Oklahoma City.

Edward Jones upheld its No. 1 ranking as the best company to work for in the large category, which includes companies that employ 250 or more people in the United States. The financial services firm shares its success with its employees through bonuses and annual profit sharing as well as the opportunity to own a piece of the firm through limited partnership.

Foundation Medical Staffing earned top ranking again in the small/medium category, which includes employers with 25 to 249 employees in the United States. The company offers employees flexible schedules along with generous vacation time and health care coverage. Foundation Medical stresses the importance of its employees by surveying them on an annual basis to measure their satisfaction with the company’s business and culture and uses the results to make changes.

Companies were selected based on employee interviews and review of their workplace policies, practices and demographics. Best Companies Group handled the overall registration and survey process, analyzing the data and using its expertise to determine the final ranking. To be considered, companies had to have both a facility and 25 or more permanent employees working in the state of Oklahoma.
