About us
Carolinas AGC is the primary conduit for connecting building, highway, utility, and specialty contractors along with supplier and service providers for the commercial construction industry. We serve as a chapter of two national associations, Associated General Contractors of America (AGCA) and American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA). Since 1922, Carolinas AGC has been the voice of the commercial construction industry in North and South Carolina. Carolinas AGC represents over 1,000 contractors and construction-related firms, including: * General Contractors * Specialty Contractors * Suppliers and Service Companies. Together with members, we provide a strong voice in the legislature, advance construction companies, unify the industry and fuel its future. With thirty volunteer-led committees and five Divisions (representing building, utility, highway, and specialty contractors and supplier/service providers), there are many opportunities to directly impact the direction of the construction industry in the Carolinas through CAGC. Through inclusive partnerships, Carolinas AGC innovates and shares knowledge across sectors and generations, advancing the construction industry to enhance the quality of life and deliver a sustainable difference in the Carolinas. The CAGC Foundation provides access to education and training to construction professionals, and offers members the opportunity to support developing workforce—the future of our industry! It is the mission of CAGC Foundation to serve the construction industry by financially supporting excellent workforce development and research programs, activities, and services in the Carolinas.
